25 Unicorn Street, Monday Morning

Like most Monday mornings, Clint woke up to the sound of Lucky and Rook moving around, and began debating with himself about whether or not to get up right away, or wait until they started barking.

Then, the events of the weekend came rushing to his mind, and Clint's first move was to run his hand over his head to make sure his hair wasn't... whatever his 15 year-old self had decided on. He sat up and looked around, hoping Kitty was all right. It had made sense to come back to the house after Tony's party, since no one else seemed to be occupying it. It had also made sense for them to sleep separately which was how, Clint supposed, he'd ended up on the couch.

With a sigh, Clint got up and started getting food ready for the dogs, and coffee ready for himself. Maybe, once Kitty got up and remembered things too, she'd be willing to pretend this weekend hadn't happened.

Kitty had woken up in their bed, checked to make sure she wasn't going to be late to class or anything, then decided it was a good thing she tended to keep alarms set in case of weekends like this. So she got out of bed, still in her sleep clothes, and went looking for Clint.

"We should get warnings for weekends like this," she complained.

"What do you mean? There was a weird weekend?"

He was going to pretend for as long as he could here.

"I mean, I guess I could have dreamed it," she said as she got to the kitchen. "But then I'd have to wonder why my subconscious gave you the floppiest hair ever..."

Clint winced and made an annoyed face. "If you want to talk about my hair, we get to talk about your fashion choices too," he pointed out.

"What was wrong with my fashion choices?"

Oh, Kitty. There had been lime green.

"They were maybe a little on the bright side," Clint said casually. "And I say this as a guy who likes purple."

"Hmph. You thought being an X-Man meant I used to be a guy," Kitty reminded him.

"I was really hoping the terrible beer from last night would erase that from your memory," Clint said, looking embarrassed. "Teenage me was really dumb."

"I had a sip of that beer, realized Tony has awful taste, and didn't drink anymore," Kitty said. "I dunno, I'm kind of amazed that's the first time I've ever gotten that comment..."

"I'm glad I could be your first for something," Clint said with a laugh. "I hope Tony's doing okay with the post-party mess today."

"If you want to go over and help, I'm sure he'd welcome it," she said, going to get a cup for coffee because seriously. "I mean, he'd have his own comments about hair..."

"Other people had bad hair too!" Clint insisted, grumbling and setting the food down for Lucky and Rook. "Did you see Tamsin?"

"I did. I think Jessica was the only one of us who got off easy there," Kitty said, unconsciously playing with her own hair. Which would be straightened with anti-frizz stuff put in it, just in case. "I thought Anakin's hair was cool."
