25 Unicorn Street, Thursday
Nov. 15th, 2018 08:56 amNot even superhero insurance could allow a woman to stay in the hospital for too long after giving birth, so Clint and Kitty had gotten Lexi all bundled up this morning and brought her home. Clint had done his best to be a good husband, making sure Kitty was comfortable in the car, trying not to drive too fast, stopping at a Starbucks drive-thru at Kitty's request, and not saying anything when actually getting the coffee made her start crying. He understood, and he couldn't judge.
Lucky and Rook had spent the morning very intrigued by the pink bundle in the carrier, and Lexi was wonderfully behaved as Clint and Kitty texted their friends to let them know they were home and could come by to see the new addition. Obviously this was a sign that she'd be a perfect baby who wouldn't keep them up all night, right?
