25 Unicorn Street, Saturday Morning

For once, it was probably a good thing that Clint took a while to wake up, because it took longer for full confusion to hit him. He was in a strange bed, with a woman he didn't recognize--a hot woman though, and he wondered if it was terrible that he couldn't remember her name. It was probably pretty terrible, right? He picked his head up from the pillow and looked around for anything familiar, and when he couldn't find anything, he laid back down and slipped his arm back around his bed partner. Pretending to still be asleep seemed like the best course of action for the moment.

"You don't know, either?" Okay, this was getting scary. "What's your name?"

Which she felt bad asking but you gotta do what you gotta do.

"Um," he said again. "Well, what's your name?"

Like that was totally going to buy him time or something.

Well, that was weird, realizing that she didn't know her own name. "Uh. I'm not totally sure."

Okay that was the worst thing she was gonna say here.

Clint sighed, and nodded. "Okay, the good news is, we're in the same boat. The bad news is, it's a really crappy boat."

"This is the weirdest way to wake up ever," Kitty decided, and started snagging the bedsheet to wrap around herself. "I need clothes before I can have an appropriate freakout."

"Okay. Uh, why don't you face that way, and I'll face the other way, and we can see if we can find our clothes?" Clint said. Presumably, they'd seen each other without clothes already, but he understood her concern.

"Yeah," she said, turning to face away from him. "Are you looking the other way?"

Clint stared at her for a moment, at what he could see of her back, before shaking his head and turning. "Yeah, sorry," he said, searching for his clothes.

"Cool," she said, getting up to get her clothes as quickly as possible. While maybe trying to sneak a peek at him because just because taking away her memories didn't take away that fact that she was still Kitty.

Clint, still being Clint, was kind of oblivious and didn't notice Kitty as he got out of the bed and looked for his clothes. "I'm thinking maybe this is my place? 'Cause there are a lot of guy clothes over here."

"Anything that looks like girl clothes?" Kitty asked, trying to get dressed as quickly as possible. "Maybe we both live here."

If not, it was going to suck finding where she lived.

For some reason, Clint hoped that was true, so he frowned when he looked around and didn't see anything immediately. "Do you like purple?"

Kitty considered this. "I think so?"

"Then maybe these are yours?" Clint offered, holding up some purple and black and white t-shirts, without turning around in case Kitty was still unclothed.

She glanced over her shoulder, trying not to look at anything she wasn't supposed to- "trying" being the operative word here- and finished pulling on her shirt. "I'm dressed," she said. "And those look like guys' shirts."

Clint held the shirts to his nose and sniffed, then dropped them quickly. "They smell like guys' shirts too," he said, fishing around until he found some clothes that were clean. Feel free to enjoy the sight of him bending over, Kitty.

Oh she was, thank you for that! Today was not being entirely bad. "Sooo... you think anyone else is here?" she wondered.

Clint pulled the rest of his clothes on and stood up, glancing around. "I don't know, but I guess we should check. It's probably safe, right?"

"I'd think so," Kitty said, going to open the door and stepping out. "Hey, looks like you own a house."

[so_hawkward]

"Really?" That seemed surprising, for whatever reason. "I guess I must be awesome."

Clint had assumed that they were alone since he hadn't heard anything after waking up, but with the door opening and the sound of his voice, there was suddenly barking from the kitchen. "What the hell was that?"

"I think you have a dog," Kitty said, looking a little excited, and also heading down the hall like, immediately. "Doesn't sound like a little yappy dog either!"

Though those were still cute.

Clint headed down the hall as well until they got to the kitchen, and found not one, but two dogs waiting patiently.

Well, Lucky was waiting patiently. Rook waited until she saw people and then ran over to Clint, barking and wagging her tail.

"Okay, now I really hope this place is mine," he said.

"Eeee," Kitty said. "I mean, there has to be something that gives a clue. And ID or phone pictures or something."

Clint picked the littler dog up and went over to the kitchen counter. "Ha, wallet! Do you see a purse anywhere?" Because she was a laaady.

"Ummm." She looked around, then wandered towards the living room, where she saw her purse near the door. She returned a moment later, saying, "Found it."

He was so cute with that dog. Seriously.
