25 Unicorn Street, Saturday Morning

For once, it was probably a good thing that Clint took a while to wake up, because it took longer for full confusion to hit him. He was in a strange bed, with a woman he didn't recognize--a hot woman though, and he wondered if it was terrible that he couldn't remember her name. It was probably pretty terrible, right? He picked his head up from the pillow and looked around for anything familiar, and when he couldn't find anything, he laid back down and slipped his arm back around his bed partner. Pretending to still be asleep seemed like the best course of action for the moment.

Kitty woke up to the feel of an arm around her, which... was not what she expected, and it was really alarming that she had no idea what she did last night. And she couldn't look right now, but she was pretty sure she didn't have any clothes on. She opened her eyes a little to get a look at the guy, decided she did pretty good for herself there at least- and stayed still for a moment so maybe he'd still be totally asleep.

Then came the careful lifting of his arm just a bit so she could try to sneak out of bed and figure out where she was.

Clint felt her stir and opened his eyes, deciding that watching the naked woman move was a little more important than... well, anything else right now.

He didn't say anything though, because he didn't want her to notice him right away. That was less creepy in his head.

Kitty turned back to make sure he was still asleep before she got up and started looking for her clothes- Oh. "Uh, hi."

"Hey," he said, smiling. "Did you, uh, sleep well?" That was nice and polite, he thought.

"Yeah, I think," she said, spotting her shirt. Okay, that was one thing, at least. "I was just, um."

She had nothing.

"Were you heading out?" After a moment," Clint asked, "Or getting up?" He wasn't sure which one of them should have been taking the walk of shame here, and he was starting to get a little worried at what he couldn't remember.

Kitty paused, and realized she really didn't know. Was this her house? She didn't know where else she was supposed to go...

"I'm not really sure," she admitted, feeling kinda terrible about it. "My memory of last night's kinda fuzzy..." Or nonexistent.

"Mine too," Clint admitted, feeling slightly better that he wasn't alone. "Maybe we had a lot to drink?" Like, a lot.

"I don't feel hungover..." she said, trying to pull the blanket up more to cover herself so she could turn more toward him. "Is this my place or yours?"

"Um." Clint looked around for a moment and shrugged. "Maybe neither of ours? I mean, if this isn't your stuff and it isn't my stuff... but it's not nice enough for a hotel."

"You don't know, either?" Okay, this was getting scary. "What's your name?"

Which she felt bad asking but you gotta do what you gotta do.

"Um," he said again. "Well, what's your name?"

Like that was totally going to buy him time or something.

Well, that was weird, realizing that she didn't know her own name. "Uh. I'm not totally sure."

Okay that was the worst thing she was gonna say here.

Clint sighed, and nodded. "Okay, the good news is, we're in the same boat. The bad news is, it's a really crappy boat."

"This is the weirdest way to wake up ever," Kitty decided, and started snagging the bedsheet to wrap around herself. "I need clothes before I can have an appropriate freakout."

"Okay. Uh, why don't you face that way, and I'll face the other way, and we can see if we can find our clothes?" Clint said. Presumably, they'd seen each other without clothes already, but he understood her concern.

"Yeah," she said, turning to face away from him. "Are you looking the other way?"

[so_hawkward]

Clint stared at her for a moment, at what he could see of her back, before shaking his head and turning. "Yeah, sorry," he said, searching for his clothes.

"Cool," she said, getting up to get her clothes as quickly as possible. While maybe trying to sneak a peek at him because just because taking away her memories didn't take away that fact that she was still Kitty.

Clint, still being Clint, was kind of oblivious and didn't notice Kitty as he got out of the bed and looked for his clothes. "I'm thinking maybe this is my place? 'Cause there are a lot of guy clothes over here."

"Anything that looks like girl clothes?" Kitty asked, trying to get dressed as quickly as possible. "Maybe we both live here."

If not, it was going to suck finding where she lived.

For some reason, Clint hoped that was true, so he frowned when he looked around and didn't see anything immediately. "Do you like purple?"

Kitty considered this. "I think so?"

"Then maybe these are yours?" Clint offered, holding up some purple and black and white t-shirts, without turning around in case Kitty was still unclothed.

She glanced over her shoulder, trying not to look at anything she wasn't supposed to- "trying" being the operative word here- and finished pulling on her shirt. "I'm dressed," she said. "And those look like guys' shirts."
